Gospel to the Globe is a 24 hour Catholic Online Intercession Prayer movement in the Catholic Church founded by Rev. Fr. Daniel Poovannathil under the Mount Carmel Retreat Center, Trivandrum.
Inspired by John 10:16 “So there shall be one flock, one shepherd” Christians from all denominations are praying together. The prayer line started on May 13, 2021 to intercede for the Evangelization of the World, Church and missionaries.
Evangelization of the World and praying for the church and missionaries through Eucharistic Adoration, and the spiritual renewal of families. Started to pray for the evangelization of India and extended for the global evangelization.
Gospel to the Globe equips Christians for the essential work of evangelization so that all people may personally encounter Jesus Christ and be transformed into His missionary disciples. Families from all around the world; including India, the Middle East, North America, South America, Australia, Europe, Africa, New Zealand are praying in the prayer line.

A monitor’s team is formed on May 14 with Elizabeth, John Varghese, Sr. Zita SIC, Sr. Yaga SIC, Sudha Daniel and Anna. Renson George was added to the team. On May 15, Rose Joseph was added to the team. Sony Baby and Rajani Joseph are added to the monitoring group on May 18 and on May 19. The name of the movement has been changed from Evan India to Gospel to the Globe.
Sr. Zita SIC is a member of the sisters of Imitation of Christ (Bethany sisters). Sr. Zita joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 14, 2021, and is monitoring two slots in the Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 8 (8 am – 9 am IST) and Slot 23 (11 pm – 12 am IST).
John Varghese joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 14, 2021. He is monitoring three slots in the Gospel to the Globe prayer line; Slot 9 (9 am – 10 am IST), Slot 10 (10 am – 11 am IST) and Slot 18 (6 pm – 7 pm IST).
Sudha Daniel joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 14, 2021. She is monitoring two slots in the Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 6 (6 am – 7 am IST), and Slot 7 (7 am – 8 am IST).
Elizabeth joined the Gospel to the Globe team as the coordinator on May 12, 2021 under the direction and guidance of Rev. Fr. Daniel Poovannathil. She is taking care of six slots in the Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 15 English group (3 pm – 4 pm IST), Slot 16 (4 pm – 5 pm IST) with two rooms, Slot 19 English group (7 pm – 8 pm IST), Slot 20 (8 pm – 9 pm IST) with three rooms, Slot 22 (10 pm – 11 pm IST) with five rooms and Slot 25 (silent group).
Anna joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 14, 2021. She is monitoring four slots in Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 1 (1 am – 2 am IST), Slot 14 (2 pm – 3 pm IST), Slot 15 Malayalam group (3 pm – 4 pm IST, and Slot 24 (12 am – 1 am IST).
Renson joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 14, 2021. He is monitoring two slots in Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 2 (2 am – 3 am IST), and Slot 3 (3 am – 4 am IST).
Rajani joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 19, 2021. She is monitoring three slots in Gospel to the Globe prayer line; Slot 11 (11 am – 12 pm IST) with two rooms, Slot 12 (11 pm – 1 pm IST), and Slot 13 (1 pm – 2 pm IST).
Rose joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 15, 2021. She is monitoring two slots in Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 4 (4 am – 5 am IST), and Slot 5 (5 am – 6 am IST).
Sony joined Gospel to the Globe team on May 18. She is taking care of two slots in Gospel to the Globe prayer line: Slot 17 (5 pm – 6 pm IST), Slot 21 (9 pm – 10 pm IST with 3 rooms.
Different groups are praying round the clock over the zoom platform, with each group praying for an hour. A silent group is praying privately and/or silently for the same intention. Starting with 119 members in 24 groups on May 13 is grown to 37 groups with 1075 members and still growing every day by the grace of God. Among the 24 groups praying over zoom, slots 10, 11, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 22 have multiple groups praying in different rooms same time. We have two English groups, one at 3 pm and another at 7 pm IST.
A meeting was conducted by Rev. Fr. Daniel Poovanathil to discuss various mission activities for the Evangelization of India. Various topics were discussed on this day including going to the mission areas for teaching, preaching, in-town intercession and private intercessions.
Elizabeth Kalampanayil volunteered to help form a 24-hour online prayer line 365 days a year for interceding for the evangelization of India. As per the instruction of Fr. Daniel, a WhatsApp group is formed with the name “Evan India Intercession Team”.
Fr. Daniel instructed to begin the prayer line, and an announcement is sent to the newly formed WhatsApp groups regarding the same. A schedule is prepared for 24 slots and each slot is of 1-hour duration and is published in the WhatsApp groups for the members to choose their convenient time.
The prayer line started using the intercession line of the St. Mary Queen of Peace Syro-Malankara eparchy of the USA and Canada which covers the slots 16 to 22 with the following intentions:
1. For the miraculous recovery of Barnabas thirumeni
2. For all the mission activities of the Gurgaon diocese
3. For the missionary activities in Chathisgarh and Orrisa
A new permanent zoom link is taken for the Evan India Intercession prayer line and the prayer line is switched to the new link. Among the 24 slots, slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 were empty on the first day. For the next 7 days, a few people helped the prayer line by joining the prayers during multiple slots specifically the empty slots.

A second WhatsApp group with the name “Evan India Intercession Team2” was created.
A third WhatsApp group with the name “Evan India Intercession Team3” was formed.

We started the live streaming of Perpetual Adoration available on YouTube.
Instructions on how to begin the prayer and how to end in each prayer slot with the prayers13 of Holy Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Sacred Heart Chaplet and The Way of Cross is sent out.
Contacted all the members in the 3 WhatsApp groups to confirm their timing to join the prayer line to form 25 individual WhatsApp groups for each time slot and the offline team.
An announcement was sent about the timing change to round off based on Indian standard time, which came to effect on May 25.
The WhatsApp groups that formed under the name EVANINDIA has been changed to Gospel to the Globe. New WhatsApp groups for 24 slots and a 25th WhatsApp group for offline team are formed on the same day. The offline team also praying privately for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The instructions and prayers with the new design were read.
Rosary mysteries for each slot for each day of week is prepared
Slot 22 (10 PM – 11 PM) is grouped into two with one group praying in the break out room.
Slot 15 (3 PM- 4 PM) two groups, with English group in the break out room and Malayalam group in the main line started praying.
Slot 20 (8 PM – 9 PM) has been grouped into two with one group praying in the break out room. We have 8 slots with more than one group praying in different rooms thereby more prayers are rising for the intentions of the group.
